My theory is that he's learned something about the Time Lords/Gallifrey or the Time War) here. Maybe the Time Lords found some way to return (or they were never gone?)?

I'd love it if it were something about Rose but he looks too sad to me, and I don't want Rose info to be sad! :)

Yeah! :) But I think, if he did just hear something about Rose, his look is more that of shock than sadness. I don't know though. I can't wait to find out! :D
