Freedom tastes so very, very sweet

Independence day has been a grand day for me this year. Well, I did have to work from 10 to 6, and that was the slowest 8 hours EVER, but I'm not complaining, 'cause it was my last day! :D
After work I went to a bonfire that Kasey threw together. All together there were eight of us, a much larger gathering than originally planned. First it was just going to be me, Kasey, Shannon, Shannon's friend Jen and Savanna. In the end it was me, Kasey, Shannon, Shannon's friends Rosemary, Jen and Jennifer (yes, there were three Jennifers there; we might start a club :P) and Trevor and Zack. Basically all we did was stand around a bonfire on the beach and ate s'mores, therefore it was AWESOME. It was great to just chill out and talk with a bunch of friends :) And the best part is coming back home and smelling like campfire :P That's when I feel the most Alaskan :D Campfires are pretty much the best!
Ok, can I just say, Blake Lewis is freaking awesome. Yes, American Idol is over, and yes, he didn't win, but I don't care. I'm listening to his performances right now and he is freaking amazing. I'd tap that any day.
Umm, what else can I ramble about? HOLY CRAP. >.< I just glanced at our TV and what do I see? Carlton, from Fresh Prince of Belair (did I spell that right?)...in a dress. A FLOOFY FLOWER PRINT DRESS COMPLETE WITH A GIANT PURPLE BOW. Sorry, that was just so extremely disturbing.
Hmm, it's 1:08 am and I should probably not be awake right now, seeing as I haven't slept well in the past three weeks. wow, that sentence got away from me >.< The internet is seriously a drug, but I'm happily addicted to it, so yay.
Hold up. "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman" by Bryan Adams just started playing on my iTunes. Quick question: How many times do you think he got laid after his released this song? Ok, ok, I'm sorry, but seriously, think about it. This song is amazing.
And HOLY FUCK ONE WEEK AWAY FROM HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX / 17 DAYS UNTIL HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS.
Really going to bed now. For serious.
