Planet of the Ood

fiery_twilightThat was....interesting, to say the least. :P I think I need to rewatch it, then I'll have a better opinion of it later.
And let me just get this out of the way first: NOOOO THE BLUE SUIT OF DOOOOOOOM!!! D:
Anyway, a few of my favorite bits:
- Happy!Doctor and incoherent/excited!Donna in the beginning! :D So adorable and hilarious. *squishes*
- "Snow! Ahh, real snow! Proper snow at last!" Aww, Doctor. *pets*
- Donna's hood! "Can you hear anything inside that?" "Pardon?" BAH!
- "Now that's what I call a spaceship! You've got a box, he's got a Ferrari!" XD
- I love the Doctor's hair in this ep. :D (then again, when do I not? XD) *ruffles*
- The singing is quite chilling and Donna talking to the dying Ood... *sniff*
- "We're so not married." "No." "Never ever." XD Looks like that's going to be the running gag of the series...
- "Second great and bountiful human empire." A sort-of-reference to S1, yeah? But it was the fourth great and bountiful human empire in S1, right?
- That crane thing was quite frightening, but I was giggling a bit during that scene because it reminded me of those crane machines in malls and grocery stores. "Oooo, I'm gonna get that plush Doctor!" But it was pretty cool; I always love chase scenes. Also, that guy was pretty psychotic and I'm glad he died.
- Aww, that scene with Donna hearing the song? Really sad. :( But at least she could choose not to hear it. The Doctor couldn't. :(
- The brain-in-the-hand thing? Kinda icky, but makes sense I suppose. Poor Ood. :(
- "I wanna go home." NO DONNA. Stop it.
- I wasn't expecting that woman to die, but I'm kind of glad she did because she was kind of a bitch. I'm just saying.
- "Doctor, Donna, friends! Doctor, Donna, friends!" And the Oods saved them, aww! :)
- "Would you like another drink, sir?" I TOTALLY CALLED THE POISONING/SLOWLY TURNING INTO AN OOD THING. That whole scene was....disturbing. :| But totally kicked ass! I love Ood Sigma.
- "I think your song must end soon." "Meaning?" "Every song must end." FUCK. FUCKITY FUCK FUCK FUCK. D: I don't like this AT ALL. SHIT SHIT SHIT.
- "What about you? You still wanna go home?" "No, definitely not." Good call, Donna. :D
Aww, I'm glad this ep had at least a happy ending. Well, a happy ending for the Ood.
Martha and U.N.I.T next week! I'll admit I'm kind of excited for that. :D
I'M STILL FREAKING OUT OVER THE SONG THING. D: IS IT SATURDAY YET?
